Girls finished first out of 10 full teams. Guys finished 2nd out of 12 full teams. Most improved runners Kayla Fagan and Josh Johnson. Iron Pioneers were Alex Olinger and Paige Kasper.
Algonac InvitationalWeather Conditions: Beautiful day tempered by bees in the woods. The Middle School Pioneers ran fantastic, and all the rest of our runners had great performances overall. Varsity Girls finished 2nd against a field of 14 full teams and the Varsity Guys finished 3rd among a field of 14. Both teams brought home hardware. The JV race also showcased the Pioneers racing well. The Iron Pioneers were Shane Wright and Lauren Barbarich with Most improved Racers being Wyatt Perry and Chelsea Hawks. We are improving across the board thanks to the effort our athletes are putting forth. Focus on the goals, support teammates and have fun.
MSU InvitationalWeather Conditions: Hot and humid, chance of rain.
What a crazy cool race at MSU. There were so many racers that the ground would shake. This will be, by far our largest race of the season. The Varsity racers ran against tremendous competition. The JV racers performed very well and it was a fantastic experience for all of our Pioneers. We look forward to returning next season. We ran into Pioneer Alumni Leah O'Connor, Andrew O'Connor, Roan Fahey, and Trevor Wilczynski. The Iron Pioneers were Nyk Manning and TBA.
Armada BWACWeather Conditions:Damp and cool
Both teams again had great races in the most important meet of the season so far. Winning each race putting us in the drivers seat heading into the final jamboree of the season. The course at Wolcott Mill Farms was muddy and the river crossing was wider than Kylie Klaas expected.
Marysville InvitationalWeather Conditions: Cool Fall day, Girls team finished in 2nd Place and the Guys finished in 3rd Place against in fields of 17. Both teams continue to run well.
Caro InvitationalWeather Conditions: Misty cool looked liked a chance of rain. The Pioneers had a good day overall winning the Girls Varsity, Girls JV and Boys JV Races. The guys finished 4th against a pretty solid field of competition.

Port Huron InvitationalWeather Conditions: Hot, super hot. (Sweating everywhere)
It was a great showing by the Pioneers. The girls were first again out of 8 teams. and the guys team finished in first place for the first time this season. The Junior Varsity had the toughest conditions to race in for the day. The Iron Pioneers from today's race are Kylie Klaas and Connor Woodruff the winners of the JV Race.
ALmont High School BWACWeather Conditions: Hot
Great race as both teams won the first BWAC Race of the season. What a great meet, so fun to watch. Some very good efforts from both squads. Iron Pioneers were TBA.
ANCHOR BAY InvitationalWeather Conditions: Beautiful day, a little windy but very nice out.
Not a huge field of teams but the competition was super fast and very good. Happy with our performances a lot of fast results.
Harbor BeachWeather Conditions: Windy, cold with a chance of sand. The girls squad won the race against some very good teams and the guys finished third behind St.Clair and and very good Yale Team. We are still beating a lot of teams at each race. Go Pioneer Nation Go! Get ready for Marysville.

The Girls rocked with the third consecutive BWAC Jamboree win. The Guys finished in second place at the meet which was enough to bring home the 2015 BWAC Championship. 2 trophies for accomplishing a major team goal. It was a great BWAC Season for the Pioneers. Hard work and dedication is paying off.
Regionals AlgonacWeather Conditions: What a great day it was beautiful out and both teams ran very well. The Pioneers were the only team at our Regional to have 2 teams qualify for the MHSAA State Final at MIS.
State Final 11/7/2015It was a great trip to the MHSAA State Cross Country Finals held at Michigan International Speedway. Both teams were able to qualify this season.
